There is a saying that states: “you can not miss something that you never had”. This must be the reason why it is not uncommon for most people to have an obsession with their ex’s. Most of us have difficulty to let go of the relationship, the person and the past.

It is most likely that you will suffer from some sort of degree of depression simply because it is found to be part of the grieving caused by the loss you suffer. Very few people realize how intense the pain is and the way they act, humiliating at the best of times during the breakup period, is all related to the trauma they are suffering.

People who have not been through break ups do not know how to behave or talk to people going through the bad time. There are things you can do to fight this battle.

Cry all you need to cry. Tears cause a chemical process that allows us to heal our hearts faster. Do not suppress your sorrow and depressed feelings or emotions.

If you are a religious person or believe in God, go to them. Seek their blessing and take their help. Be positive and welcome change and new things.

Focus on yourself and not the other person. Pity yourself and find happiness within you. Fill up your loneliness with your activities and work. You have it in you and can make it happen.

When pain come back and knock on your door after a while again, accept and acknowledge it but do not foster it. Become consciously aware of the existing moment. Notice positive things around you. The more you do this, the more will you start to keep the past a distant memory.

Everybody loves to say forgiveness sets you free, up to that moment where you need to be the one that have to forgive. Then it becomes more easily said than done! However, what or who ever you might blame for the loss of your relationship, bitterness will prolong the negative feelings you have. Although you may not forgive the person/s in person at least do it in your heart.

These advent meditations are specifically assembled as prayers shared by the complete congregation. For the second Sunday of advent, from Matthew 3:1: when john the baptizer made his appearance as a preacher in the desert of Judea, this was what he told them: reform your lives. For the initial Sunday of advent, from mark 13:33: Jesus said to his disciples: ‘be always on the watch! remain awake!. Swell are going to be his dignity and he is going to be called son of the most high. When you choose your phrase or full hymn for meditation, you better be exceedingly comfortable with the phrase of the hymn.

Advent meditations are specifically employed by the christian faithful in preparation for Christmas. Hymns tend to be employed as either the full hymn, or select pieces of the hymn is used as a mantra.

For the final Sunday of advent, from Luke 1: the angel Gabriel said to Mary, “do not fear, Mary, you shall conceive and bear a son and give him the name Jesus. You don’t want to read the hymn while you meditate, as this will take away from your meditations. You don’t acknowledge when the master of the house is coming. Underneath, you will find an instance of mutual bible scripture employed for advent meditations.

Hymns tend to be employed as advent meditations for those who desire to shape a private meditation that is not shared by some other Christians. In either case, this style of meditation is specifically employed a celebration of approach of Christmas. The sovereignty of god is at hand! for the third Sunday of advent, from Luke 3:10: john’s disciples said to Jesus, “are you ‘he who is to come’ or do we search for another? ” in reply, Jesus said: “tell john what you listen and see: the blind recover their sight, cripples walk, lepers are cured, and the poor have good news preached to them. As advent meditations are tied to one of the most critical holidays of the christian religion, its not not uncommon for churches to participate in a short meditation for the duration of sermon or mass.

Starting on the 4th Sunday prior to Christmas, the advent is the period of waiting before the birth of Christ. advent meditations may happen either everyday or on a weekly basis, contingent on how you like the advent. In addition to scripture being employed, its’ not uncommon that Christmas hymns are similarly employed as meditations.

The dates can vary, but advent generally starts around November 27 and December 3. Most people will do the meditations once a week, on a Sunday, and use bible scripture as the focus of the meditation.

As sad as it is, it’s time to say goodbye to the old Shea Stadium after 44 years of sports memories for all of us. It hardly seems possible that the Mets were an expansion team all these years after their cross-town American League rivals first took the field. It’s also hard to remember the stadium being called the Flushing Meadow Park Municipal Stadium, but that’s what it called until a movement was launched to name it in honor of William Shea.

Through the years Shea Stadium has been the home to some of the greatest baseball players ever to pick up a bat. Players like Duke Snider, Nolan Ryan, Warren Spahn, Tom Seaver, Willie Mays, Eddie Murray, Yogi Berra, Casey Stengel, Richie Ashburn, and Gary Carter who all became heroes in the baseball Hall of Fame. And who can forget the entertaining players like Lenny “Nails” Dykstra and Gil Hodges who just toughed it out on a daily basis?

Yes, there have been lots of good times and a few bad times; we’ve been confronted with ugly and outrageous behavior of players and fans, but in the end we have some awesome memories woven into the fabric of the stadium’s history. Take the 1986 Mets versus Boston Red Sox World Series game, for example, where we watched Dwight Gooden and Daryl Strawberry take the Mets to a victorious climax, winning the World Series that year. Regrettably, the notoriety and high living took its toll as both players spent the remaining years of their baseball careers dealing with the consequences of drug use and other problems.

In 1969 we saw the Amazin’ Mets win their first Championship when no one really knew of the young Nolan Ryan who would spend the next 27 years earning the record of the player who struck out 5,714 batters. Remarkable moments like these abound throughout the history of Shea Stadium; in fact, one could literally write a book about the colorful and extraordinary events. And although a new chapter in the stadium’s history begins, those special memories of the past will live in the hearts of Mets’ fans around the world for eternity.

Outside of baseball though was the remembrance of 9/11. Shea Stadium became the centerpiece for supplies, food, and a place to stay for all the victims to utilize. It took an unprecedented for the MLB to get back to everyday life, but for New York, it was one of the most inspiring nights ever in baseball history. Over 41,000 fans packed the stadium to watch the Mets take on the Braves and keep those who were lost close to all our hearts. When mixed in with great baseball everyone will tell you that Shea was a place like no other. Here’s to 50 more years of baseball history.
